Course Overview
This one-day course combines in-depth theory with live-model hands-on practice. Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulator that works differently to hyaluronic acid fillers — gradually restoring facial volume and improving skin quality by stimulating your patient's own collagen production over time. All practical training is CPD accredited.

• The science of PLLA and how biostimulation differs from traditional dermal fillers • Patient assessment: identifying ideal candidates for volume loss, skin laxity, and deep facial folds • Reconstitution, dilution, and product handling • Injection technique, including microcannula application for reduced bruising and risk • Treatment planning across multiple sessions (Sculptra is a progressive treatment, not a single visit) • Combining Sculptra with other treatments in a patient's plan (fillers, skin boosters, threads) • Managing complications and contraindications • Aftercare and setting realistic patient expectations
Entry Requirements
Completion of Dermal Fillers Advanced training (with us or an equivalent recognised qualification) is required to enrol.
