Skin Lab Training Academy (SLTA) was founded by Ramin, a clinical pharmacist prescriber with over 15 years of NHS experience and 8+ years running a successful, medically-led aesthetic practice. Every course is taught personally, one-to-one, inside a real working clinic.
From the NHS to Aesthetic Medicine
— Ramin's Story —
Ramin's path into aesthetics didn't start in a beauty salon — it started in the NHS. Over 15 years as a clinical pharmacist prescriber gave him a grounding in pharmacology, patient safety, and clinical decision-making that most aesthetics trainers simply don't have.
That clinical foundation is what led him to build Skin Lab Medispa's Marylebone clinic — a medically-led aesthetic practice based at The Light Centre, Baker Street. Over 8+ years in aesthetic practice, he's treated patients, refined his technique, and built a clinic people trust enough to leave 5-star reviews for.
Skin Lab Training Academy exists because Ramin wanted to pass that same standard on — not by scaling up into a big classroom-based academy, but by training practitioners the way he'd want to be trained himself: one-to-one, hands-on, inside his Marylebone clinic.

Why We Don't Teach in Groups
Most aesthetics academies teach in groups of anywhere from 4 to 12+ students, because it's more profitable to run one session for many people than to teach each person individually. That model works for the academy's bottom line — it doesn't always work for how confident you feel injecting your first real patient afterward.
At SLTA, every course is taught one-to-one. That means:
Every question gets answered, in the moment, without competing for the trainer's attention
Your hands-on practice time isn't split between you and a room full of other students
Feedback on your technique is specific to you, not general guidance to the group
You train at your pace, not the group's pace
It also means smaller course numbers overall — which is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
